My RBC Olympic Torchbearer experience:
The Olympic spirit is contagious and on December 29th the people of Barrie came out in the thousands to put on a great welcoming and support for the Olympic flame and all the torchbearers.
My heart swelled with pride and joy when my torch was lit. A glorious flame roared out the top of the torch as I danced and skipped down the road holding it high. Seeing the reaction of all the people lining the streets also made the event special as the Olympic spirit was evident in their faces.
